This assessment provides statistical probability and mathematical interpretation based on validated clinical equations. It is not a diagnostic tool.
Estimates your expected date of delivery (EDD) based on the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). While only about 4% of babies are born on their exact due date, this clinical benchmark is essential for tracking gestational milestones and scheduling prenatal care.
Developed by German obstetrician Franz Naegele in the 19th century, this rule simplified the calculation of human gestation, which averages 266 days from conception or 280 days from LMP.
Don't get too attached to the date. Only about 5% of women deliver on their exact EDD. Focus instead on the 'due window' (38-42 weeks).
